Children’s Church

DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS: We are meeting periodically with the kids via video chat. We’ll let them know when the next one is. If you didn’t receive an invitation to the first one, please email Pastor Johnny at email@miffag.org (Due to safety concerns we only allow children we already know, into the video chats).

We are also encouraging the children to write letters to some of the elders in our church during the lock-down. You can write notes of encouragement, draw pictures, write Bible verses, or anything else you think they’d like. If you need names and/or addresses of people that would enjoy a letter, you can email Pastor Johnny at email@miffag.org (We can also send you envelopes & stamps if you need any).

———————————————————————-

At Mifflinburg Assembly of God we believe that children need to learn at their own level and pace.  That’s why we have created a place for children to get instruction in a way that they can understand and will enjoy.  We offer Sunday School at 9:30am for all ages (infants in nursery), Children’s Church during the Sunday morning service (10:30am.) and on Wednesday evening (6:30pm).

The children are dismissed from the Sunday morning 10:30am service after worship.

There are also lots of activities including a Children’s Carnival, “Trunk or Treat,” Splash Bash, Skating and more!  Junior Bible Quiz practice on Sunday Nights at 6:30pm (most of the year).

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES (May need to sign up in foyer):

  • Carnival in the Park on Friday, June 5th from 4pm-7:45pm – In Mifflinburg Park we’ll have inflatables, balloon animals, food, prizes and more!  We stop all activities (except food) at 7pm for Character juggler Chris Ivey to perform.
  • We have a CANDY SHOP! – Earn “Bible Bucks” for Sunday School attendance, bringing your Bible, etc. and pick from the Candy Shop quarterly.
  • Jr. Bible Quiz Competitions!
Community Aid Bin

We’ve partnered with the Christian organization “Community Aid.” Along with providing low cost clothes and shoes for families in the community they also give a portion of the proceeds to a ministry. We’ve designated our children’s ministry to benefit from any of these donations you may make.  The donation bin is located in the corner of the parking lot.
